A Battle We Fight

A Battle We Fight

I would like to thank every woman, boy, girl, and man
Who fought to bring freedom to this land

They all went away to serve
Whether in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Reserves

To make America a better place
A land of opportunity where people can become great

When He was 18 he was sent away
People have died it’s a price they pay

War is more than blood, violence, suffering, and death
It’s more about freedom that’s brought to the rest

Honor, duty, and Respect
The President must call the elect

War can bring so many positive things
Like new governments, justice, and freedom that rings

Sometimes however we need to look at all the money that is spent
Because War is more than leaving a wallet with a big dent

We should only fight
If we know what we doing is right

Unfortunately, evil, corruption and hatreds all around
So soldiers go to war to bring justice to towns

War is to be fought to defeat all sin
To bring peace to each land and nation

There are so many people who live in poverty
If wars not just we ought to spend our funds on feeding the needy

Let’s fight the war on Terror
Cause if we don’t this will be a big error

However, thanks to people who promoted peace
We can nip evil in the bud, and overcome defeat

Many wars have been fought
Some with bullets, others with words those sometimes go for naught
Thanks to people like Rosa Parks, Doctor King and Gandhi
Things like racism, and prejudices have been dwindling

So as for this controversial thing
War must be fought if and only if in the end justice will sing.
